Pesa means "money" in Swahili, a language widely used in East Africa. Pesa Choice is the next level in international money transfer services. It will deliver money within minutes to the palms of the recipients. Leveraging an already growing market in mobile money, Pesa Choice provides a convenient way for people living abroad to send money to recipients in Africa. Unlike the banking sector which only reaches 20% of the population, mobile money is reaching 67.5% of the population. Our technology is easy to use and will eliminate the hassle of people traveling long distances to banks or cash pick up locations to receive money. Not to mention that our fees are significantly low between 5 % and 6% as opposed to the current market rates which are between 7.2% and 12%. We plan to provide a mobile money API that can be used for online payments, thus providing a backbone for the budding e-commerce market in Africa.
